Visiting FUMC

Sunday Morning

Sunday services incorporate great preaching and a creative mix of music within each week’s service and from week to week. Worship begins at 10am and also include a live video stream for those needing or wanting to participate at home. The stream begins around 9:55am and is also available to view following the service.

Communion

First United Methodist Church welcomes to the table all who profess their love of Jesus Christ. You need not be a member of this or any congregation to take part.

Come As You Are

Dress at FUMC ranges from jeans and flip-flops to suits and dresses. All are welcome.

Children Are Welcome

We love children in worship and make time for them. We have two nursery rooms for our children birth - preschool, a children’s lounge for elementary Sunday school, and a tween room. Free play is available for children.

Fellowship

Coffee and doughnuts are available after worship, a great time for visiting and connecting.

Our Location

FUMC, the Coppertop church, is located on Skyline Parkway, at the intersection of Mesaba Avenue, Central Entrance, 6th Avenue East, and Rice Lake Road.

First United Methodist Church (FUMC) is handicapped accessible and has ample off-street parking.

Most parking is found on the east side of the building, and that entry brings you in on the social hall level. Our Sanctuary is on the upper level, easily reached by stairs or elevator. Greeters will help direct you and answer your questions. Stop at the Welcome Center in the Narthex to learn more.
